Natural Collagen Restoration with Sculptra
Sculptra at Nurture Aesthetics & Wellness
Subtle, regenerative facial rejuvenation designed to restore collagen, improve skin quality, and support natural facial structure over time.
Sculptra is ideal for patients who want to look refreshed, healthy, and supported — not overfilled or dramatically changed.
What Is Sculptra?
Sculptra is a collagen-stimulating injectable treatment that works gradually to restore facial support and improve skin quality over time.
Unlike traditional filler, Sculptra helps your body rebuild its own collagen, creating subtle, natural-looking rejuvenation that develops beautifully over several months.
Patients often choose Sculptra for:
- gradual, natural-looking rejuvenation
- collagen stimulation
- improved skin firmness and structure
- long-term facial support
- elegant, understated results
Treatment Areas
Restore age-related volume loss while maintaining soft, natural facial contours.
Improve hollowing and restore balance to the upper face.
Support facial structure and improve definition with subtle collagen restoration.
Stimulate collagen to improve mild skin laxity and thinning skin over time.
Who Is NOT a Good Candidate for Sculptra?
While Sculptra can be an excellent option for many patients, it may not be the right treatment for everyone.
Sculptra may not be ideal for patients who:
- want immediate or dramatic results
- are looking for sharp, high-volume enhancement
- prefer the instant correction traditional filler can provide
- are unable to commit to multiple treatment sessions
- have active skin infections, inflammation, or acne in the treatment area
- have a history of keloid formation or abnormal scarring
- have certain autoimmune or inflammatory conditions
- are pregnant or breastfeeding
- have unrealistic expectations about treatment outcomes
Patients with very thin skin, significant skin laxity, or advanced volume loss may benefit from combining Sculptra with other treatment modalities for optimal results.
At Nurture Aesthetics & Wellness, we believe in honest, individualized recommendations and will always guide you toward the treatment plan best suited to your anatomy and goals.
Preparing for Your Sculptra Appointment
To help minimize bruising and optimize your experience, we recommend:
- avoiding alcohol for 24–48 hours prior to treatment
- avoiding blood-thinning supplements and medications when medically appropriate and approved by your prescribing provider
- arriving with clean skin free of makeup when possible
- rescheduling if you develop illness, active infection, cold sores, or significant skin irritation near the treatment area
Examples of supplements and medications that may increase bruising include:
- fish oil
- vitamin E
- ibuprofen
- aspirin
- certain herbal supplements
Please review all medications and medical history during your consultation.
Sculptra Aftercare
Following treatment, mild swelling, tenderness, bruising, and temporary fullness are common and expected.
To support optimal product distribution and healing:
- gently massage the treated areas as instructed
- stay well hydrated
- avoid excessive heat, strenuous exercise, saunas, and alcohol for the first 24 hours
- avoid unnecessary pressure on the treated areas immediately after treatment
- follow all personalized aftercare instructions provided at your appointment
Because Sculptra stimulates collagen gradually, results develop over time and often continue improving for several months after treatment.
If you experience severe pain, significant blanching, worsening redness, or any concerning symptoms, contact our office immediately.
Sculptra vs Filler
Traditional filler provides immediate volume in targeted areas. Sculptra works differently by stimulating collagen production over time.
Many patients choose Sculptra when they want:
- softer, more gradual rejuvenation
- improved skin quality
- structural support
- longer-term collagen restoration
In many cases, Sculptra and filler can work beautifully together depending on your goals.
When Will I See Results?
Results develop gradually as collagen production increases.
Typical Sculptra Timeline:
- Mild swelling or fullness immediately after treatment
- Early improvement within several weeks
- Continued collagen production over 3–6 months
- Long-lasting, natural-looking results
Because results appear gradually, patients often look refreshed without others knowing they had treatment.
How Many Vials Will I Need?
Your treatment plan depends on:
- age
- anatomy
- degree of collagen loss
- desired outcome
Some patients seek subtle collagen support, while others desire more comprehensive facial restoration. During your consultation, we will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals.
